Procurement & Contract Coordinator ? Defence ? Vic

6 Month Contract

Kinetic Recruitment is one of Australia?s leading suppliers of Business Support and Administration personnel to the Defence, Engineering and ICT Sectors. Currently my client is seeking to appoint a dedicated Procurement & Contract Coordinator to provide meticulous business support for the Project.

Key Duties:

• Provide procurement & contracts administration
• Process orders and manage documentation requirements
• Process purchase order requisitions and liaise directly with these requisition sites
• Review orders, quotes, queries, delivery and processing of all requests
• Track orders through the entire process and ensure status updates
• Make purchasing decisions and requisitions
• Raise purchase orders, copy these and distribute documentation through SDSS
• Coordinate all documentation to do with contacts
• Manage and maintain assigned contracts and subcontracts

To be considered for this role you MUST have:

• Current Australian Defence Security Clearance of Restricted or higher ? (ESSENTIAL)
• Knowledgeable & experienced in the use of SDSS & ROMAN
• Proven Procurement Administration experience from within Defence
• Good experience in Report writing ? including Procurement, Cost Codes & Projects
• Demonstrated knowledge & ability to apply procurement policies
• Outstanding communication skills ? both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
