About our client??? Our client is currently recruiting for a Team Leader for their Ringwood site, East Melbourne. The company is a well established organisation providing training and support to jobseekers with various personal barriers to gaining employment. You will join energetic, talented team members that get a real buzz out of helping people develop skills and achieve their end goal of gaining further skills and ultimately sustainable employment. About the role??? The Team Leader is responsible for assisting in overseeing the delivery of the Job Services Australia contract and Employment Services delivered at the site ??? the Team Leader reports directly to the Manager and is the first point of contact for staff members. The role involves leading and managing staff, such as Employment Consultants, to maximise contract performance, increase business development and to deliver quality provision in order to achieve team and organisational goals. Successful applicants will have: - Experience in the Employment Services sector with a JSA or Job Network provider.
- Supervisory experience, proven people management skills, and the ability to relate to people from a range of backgrounds and circumstances.
- Strong organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills and enjoy guiding and motivating staff members.
- You must be goal oriented and comfortable with working in a target driven environment.
- A good understanding of local labour market issues
- A results and outcomes focused approach
A background in Employment Services, Recruitment, Community Services and other associated fields is highly regarded.
