This position is responsible for the continual supply between grower and retail outlets. You must be technically minded with horticultural experience, ideally in table grapes, melons, mangoes or citrus fruit.

In addition to demonstrable enthusiasm for a career in horticulture, you should have:

• proven planning skills to ensure a consistent supply of quality product;

• the ability to share information with all key supply chain partners and particularly between growers and your team;
• the experience to advise growers/suppliers of appropriate sources of technical & agronomic advice;
• a proactive approach to your life and workplace;
• trials experience and the ability to organise/coordinate trial crops (either new or ‘best of breed’ varieties for existing lines).

You must have a valid driving licence, be computer literate and possess the ability to relate to and communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Tertiary qualifications in agronomy/ horticulture will be a great advantage and experience managing people is essential.

An attractive base salary will be negotiated dependent upon proven experience.
